Questions about this tour

What is the difference between wild camping and the desert camp?

The desert camp has fixed tents, bathrooms and other travelers nearby. Wild camping means a mobile camp pitched at remote spots with no facilities and no other camps in sight: maximum silence and stars.

Is wild camping safe?

Yes. Your guide and driver grew up in this exact dune field, carry communications equipment, and choose campsites based on weather and season. Comfort items (tents, bedding, cooked meals) are all provided.

Are all meals really included?

Yes. Wild camping is all-inclusive: desert lunch on day 1, dinners and breakfasts at camp, all cooked fresh by your team.

Travelers on the dunes

“Had an incredible experience with DuneTour. Everything was well organized, the responses while booking were quick and all our questions were answered. We had a dust storm, although it didn't prevent us from going for a camel ride to the high dunes. The tents were comfortable and the food was good. What I have to point out were the people. Our guide was incredible, he was so lively and just happy to show us the desert. We were also lucky to see gazelles in the wild. Would definitely recommend.”
