Is lunch really included on this tour?

Yes. The Lake Iriki day trip is the one tour where lunch is included: a traditional meal served under acacia trees in the desert.

Will I see the big Erg Chegaga dunes on this trip?

No. This excursion covers the Tajine Mountains, fossil fields and the Lake Iriki dry lake bed. For the high dunes, pick any of the overnight Erg Chegaga tours.

Is this tour suitable for children?

Yes. It is the easiest tour we run: short walks, no overnight in the desert, and back in Foum Zguid by late afternoon.

“Had an incredible experience with DuneTour. Everything was well organized, the responses while booking were quick and all our questions were answered. We had a dust storm, although it didn't prevent us from going for a camel ride to the high dunes. The tents were comfortable and the food was good. What I have to point out were the people. Our guide was incredible, he was so lively and just happy to show us the desert. We were also lucky to see gazelles in the wild. Would definitely recommend.”
