Itinerary
The tour begins in Foum Zguid, passing through Laajirmia Oasis, with a 15-minute stop for photos and to enjoy some picturesque views. We then continue to Iriki Lake, where you’ll visit nomadic homes, meet the local people, and have lunch with a stunning desert view. After lunch, we head to Erg Chegaga to reach our desert campsite, where you can enjoy a sunset, take a camel ride, and spend the night under the stars around a campfire with live music.
After breakfast, we head back to Foum Zguid, stopping first at a nomadic school. We then visit the fossil site near Iriki Lake, where you can see fascinating formations before returning to Foum Zguid to end the journey, having experienced the desert’s beauty and its timeless allure.
