Itinerary
From Agadir, travel with our experienced local guide to Taroudant, one of Morocco’s oldest cities. After exploring, we continue on to Ouarzazate. In Ouarzazate, enjoy an overnight stay in a local riad, complete with dinner.
After breakfast, we visit the famous Atlas Film Studio in Ouarzazate, then drive to Skoura and Kalaat m’Gouna, known for its annual rose festival. We explore the stunning Dades Valley and the beautiful Todra Gorge. Next, we head toward Erfoud, renowned for its dates and fossil products. Finally, we arrive in Merzouga for dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.
We will explore the Merzouga Desert in a comfortable 4×4 vehicle, visiting the villages of Khamlia and Hassi Labiad, and exploring the desert dunes. In Khamlia, we’ll enjoy live Gnawa music, a local tradition. In the afternoon, we embark on a camel ride to reach our desert camp deep in the sand dunes. The camp is fully equipped for a comfortable Sahara experience. We’ll watch the stunning sunset over the dunes, then enjoy a traditional Berber meal, with local drum music around a campfire. We’ll spend the night in nomad tents.
After watching the sunrise, we ride the camels back to Merzouga village. After breakfast, we travel through the villages of Rissani and Agdez, passing through the Draa Valley on our way to Ouarzazate. We’ll enjoy dinner and stay overnight in a local riad.
On the last day of our Agadir tour, we visit Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most famous kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch, we drive back to Agadir.
