Marrakech To Merzoga 4 Days Tour
EXCELLENT Based on 24 reviews Posted on Google H LTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Een heel leuke woenstijnervaring met Mustapha! We zagen wilde struisvogels, ezels en dromedarissen onderweg. We hadden een coole 4x4-rit en een leuke dromedaristocht.Posted on Google Patricia VonkTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mustafa was an excellent driver through the desert!! The trip was magnificent. We had a great lunch, and had a lot of time to make a walk on the sand dunes. Mustafa: thank you for the great day!!Posted on Google Krystal GrahamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a great time! The only thing is I wished that the bus hadn’t stopped so much due to overheating problems, so there’s was a delay which made the rest of the tour rushed and we almost missed the sunset. We arrived at the camp late so my jeep tour was really short, it didn’t last 1 hour as promised. Apart from those issues which is out of anyone’s control of course, i had a good experience being immersed in the culture, interacting with locals and enjoying the natural scenes.Posted on Google Karine B.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Merci encore Mustapha.Posted on Google Виталия ПосаженниковаTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Posted on Google Ален КоспановTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had an incredible experience with dunetour. Everything was well organized, the responses while booking were quick and all our questions were answered. It was my first experience spending a night in the desert. We had a dust storm, although it didn't prevent us from going for a camel ride to the high dunes. The tents were comfortable and the food was good. What I have to point out were the people. Our guide was incredible, he was so lively and just happy to show us the desert. He really made our experience unforgettable. We were also lucky to see gazelles in the wild. Itinerary
Your adventure begins in Marrakech as we journey through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass (2,260m) with breathtaking panoramic views. We visit the historic Kasbah of El Glaoui in Telouet before exploring the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou, a majestic fortified village. After lunch in Ait Benhaddou or Ouarzazate, we continue through the dramatic landscapes to Dadès Gorges, where you’ll unwind in a charming riad or hotel for the night.
After breakfast, we journey towards Merzouga, passing through charming Berber villages and the Saharan gateway of Erfoud. As we reach Merzouga, the vast dunes of the Sahara unfold before us. After a short rest, we embark on a camel trek into the golden sands, arriving at our desert camp in time to witness a breathtaking sunset from the high dunes. The night is spent under the stars in traditional nomad tents, with drumming, storytelling, and endless opportunities for stunning sunset and sunrise photos.
After watching the sunrise, we return to Merzouga. There, you can take a shower and enjoy a fresh breakfast. Then, we begin our journey back to Ouarzazate. Along the way, we stop at Berber shops where you can browse unique souvenirs—fossils, carpets, lamps, and leather goods. We arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon and settle in for the night at a comfortable hotel.
We leave Ouarzazate in the morning and head to Ait Benhaddou for a tour and lunch. This 11th-century kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, has served as a backdrop for over 20 films, including Gladiator. After lunch, we begin our journey back to Marrakech, passing through Tizi-n-Tichka, and arrive in Marrakech by evening.
